Google Scholar allows you to search through a wide range of scholarly literature including journal articles, ebooks, conference proceedings and theses. Some of our library resources can be accessed using Google Scholar.
To access Google Scholar click here. To view library holding links in Google Scholar on a non-work device use MyAthens. See the section below entitled 'Library holding links' for more information.
When you search Google Scholar you can see links to different versions of the result such as PDFs, websites and library holdings. If using a work device the links to WSLHD library holdings are seen automatically. If you are using a non-work device such as your home computer you have two options to view these links:
1. Use MyAthens to access Google Scholar and view the links to WSLHD library holdings
2. Add the library links manually. This option will allow you to add links to WSLHD library holdings as well as other institutes you are affiliated with e.g. Western Sydney University Library, University of Sydney Library and Notre Dame University Library. Please view the help page for instructions on how to do this - How do I link Google Scholar with library databases?
For help using Google Scholar please visit the Google Scholar help page or contact WSLHD Libraries.
