The Ovid Discovery search allows you to search all your Facility library resources in one place. The search includes resources such as CIAP, the library catalogue, online books and journals, ClinicalKey, ClinicalKey for Nursing and Proquest Health Research Premium Collection.
You can access Ovid Discovery using a hospital desktop computer, corporate mobile or a device connected to the VPN using a secure ID by clicking on the link below for your Facility Library's search.
Search Auburn and Westmead Hospital Library resources

Search Cumberland Hospital Library resources
To access this resource using a device without connecting to the VPN such as your home computer or personal phone without connecting to the VPN login to MyAthens then navigate to the resource.

How do I create a login to Ovid Discovery when onsite?
A login to Ovid Discovery allows you to save searches, create alerts, choose favourites and locate eResources using the search when offsite.
If you are using a work computer or on the organisation's VPN (e.g. using a secure ID on a work laptop), you can view the 'Sign up' link on the top right corner of the screen to create a new login.
How do I create a login to Ovid Discovery when offsite?
A login to Ovid Discovery allows you to save searches, create alerts, choose favourites and locate eResources using the search when offsite.
If you are accessing Ovid Discovery remotely (e.g. using your non-work mobile or home laptop without VPN) you will be prompted to enter your MyAthens credentials. If you do have a MyAthens login, select Register for one to create a new MyAthens login. MyAthens provides you with the authentication to access and view these eresources such as articles, ebooks and databases. You can learn more about MyAthens on the MyAthens guide.
Once you have entered your MyAthens credentials you will be prompted to either login or create a registration. The 'Sign up' link on the top right corner of the screen will not appear. You will need to sign in to Ovid Discovery to be able to locate eresources using the search.
