Training Sessions on Offer

BMDH Library provides training on all our resources, including navigating the library site, research support and searching skills. We offer one to one training as well as a group training in the library. 

Training is available through the following formats:

  • Face to face in the library (Please contact us to make an appointment)
  • Group training in the library (Register through My Health Learning)

  • Information skills support 
  • Setting up eTOCs, current awareness alerts, RSS etc.
  • Assistance with systematic review & guideline development
  • Support for journal clubs, clinical & audit meetings
  • Advice on referencing, citing and copyright

  • Identifying & locating research literature for clinical care questions, policies, protocols, and service improvement initiatives

You can request an individual appointment or group in-service, delivered in your ward or department at a time that works best for your clinical care environment.
