UpToDate Guide

UpToDate is an evidence-based, physician-authored clinical decision support resource for point-of-care decisions. More than 5,700 world-renowned physician authors, editors and peer reviewers use a rigorous editorial process to synthesize the most recent medical information into trusted, evidence based recommendations that are proven to improve patient care and quality.

In order to gain access to UpToDate Anywhere you will need to first register for an account from the CIAP Homepage. You will need to be on a hospital computer to do this. Once registered, you will have access to UpToDate from any web browser and on to two mobile devices.

• Go to CIAP Homepage from any hospital computers and click on UpToDate icon under Quicklinks.
• Click on the "Login/Register" tab in the upper right hand corner.
• To create a new account  - register as a new user and create your own username and password.
