Hosted by Dr Danielle Arabena, the Medical Educator for the Indigenous Health Training Team at General Practice Training Queensland. Danielle speaks to innovators, trail blazers and community leaders in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and medicine. A podcast, not exclusively for doctors, but anyone with an interest in Indigenous health.
This series has been developed by ANZCA Fellows as a resource to provide an introduction into working with indigenous patients. There are nine podcasts available covering topics that range from communication and asking about indigenous status to culture shock and traditional parenting.
The National Guide Podcast is a collaboration between the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (NACCHO). In each episode, host Lauren Trask, NACCHO Implementation Officer and CQI expert, speaks to general practitioners and researchers on updates and changes in the third edition of the National Guide to a preventive health assessment for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Interior Voices, is an Interior Health podcast series. The bi-weekly installments are produced by Aboriginal Health and Wellness Communications and aims to explore the intersection of health and culture in the workplace,  everyday lives, and patient care.
Ask the Specialist is a podcast for health professionals who work with Aboriginal patients. Created in the Northern Territory of Australia, doctors from Royal Darwin Hospital ask Larrakia, Tiwi and Yolngu leaders to answer their questions which span clinical to philosophical issues. Generally Speaking (produced by RACGP) is the conversation for all GPs and health professionals to stay connected, informed and inspired. The C in BLA.C.K. stands for colonisation and its ongoing impact on Indigenous health. Dr Mikayla Couch is a Bundjalung woman from Tweed Heads and a gynaecology and obstetrics registrar. She interviews First Nations doctors and health care professionals to pick their brains on Indigenous health and learn from what they’ve been working on.
