Exploration of Aboriginal patient engagement in speech pathology in Western Sydney

Speech pathologist, Patricia Webb, Blacktown and Mount Druitt Hospitals, in collaboration with researchers from the University of Sydney, has recently been awarded an Allied Health Research Kickstarter grant to explore Aboriginal patient engagement in speech pathology services, and is working very closely with local Aboriginal population to undertake this project, with a view for better service provision.

Winning Welcome for Aboriginal Patients at Auburn Hospital

Hospital staff set themselves a task to increase the number of patients who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander to the hospital by 50 per cent by February 2020.  See more.
