Library Lovers' Day

Forget Valentine’s Day, February 14 is all about libraries!

At your facility library we’re celebrating Library Lover’s Day on February 14 and this year’s theme is Make a date with your library.

So, to find the best information for your research, patient care, or personal development you can reach out to your library staff, in person or online, to achieve faster and better results with all your information needs.

When you visit the libraries from 12-16 February you can learn about the libraries’ resources, pick up some free goodies, see our books to help with exam preparation, or pick up a bargain at the libraries holding book sales.

The libraries regularly run training courses through My Health Learning to assist users in accessing our resources. Click here to view our training courses to learn how to access databases, do expert searches, manage references with Endnote and more.  We encourage you to Make a date with your library and book a training session or contact us to make an appointment with us or just drop into the library to find out more about all the fantastic resources and services your libraries make available to you.

Did you know that you can access ebooks at your library? Doody’s Essential Collection provides access to over 50 essential Lippincott ebooks. These complement our ebooks available through CIAP, ClinicalKey and ClinicalKey for Nursing. Find Doody’s and our other e-resources here.

More information about our Library Lovers’ Day celebrations across the libraries can be found by selecting your library's tab from the left-hand side menu.
