Research Assistance

The Library staff are happy to assist with your information needs. The librarians will search for you on any work-related topic. Just complete the Literature Search Request Form to ask us to do the search on your behalf.

Urgent searches to support clinical care are given a priority.

We encourage you to make an appointment with us if you are working on a search for a systematic review.

Please note: Will will not do searches for university assignments, however we will support your search skills development. Please look at our Training Guide or book into one of the Libraries' MyHealth Learning Courses. You may also speak to a member of staff to schedule a time to meet for advice.

Would you like us to come to your Ward or Department?

We can also provide research assistance, at the point of care, to answer any of your patient-related research queries.

We are also happy to provide in-services to your department or ward.

Need research help? Make an appointment with a member of BMDH Library Staff by schedule an appointment with a librariancontacting them directly. If you're not sure who to contact, just call 9851 6025, and we will help you set up an appointment.  Of course, you can always stop by the Circulation Desks at the libraries and the librarian on duty will be happy to help you.
