The Catalogue can be used to find and borrow items held at libraries within the Western Sydney Local Health District, Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District and The Sydney Children's Hospitals Network. Use the Catalogue to search for items, see what books you have on loan, reserve items from another library to be picked up at your facility library and more.

Access

To be able to login to the catalogue you need to complete an online registration form then visit your facility library with your identification to complete your registration. If you have registered at Auburn Hospital Library you do not need to visit the library with your identification.

After registering you can either use the Stafflink login option if you have stafflink credentials or Other login if you do not have stafflink credentials.

Borrowing

You can borrow a maximum of 10 items at any one time.

Most books are on loan for 3 weeks and will be automatically renewed three times unless reserved by someone else. You will receive an email when the book is due back.

Some items such as closed reserve and reference books have different loan periods.

You can reserve an item from another library to be picked up at your Facility library by logging in to the Catalogue or by contacting us. You will be notified via email when the reserved item is available for pickup. Items are reserved for 7 days from the date of notification, after which they are returned to the shelves or offered to the next reserving borrower.

Books in the library are organised on the shelves according to the US National Library of Medicine (NLM) Classification Scheme.

Non-medical books are classified using the Library of Congress Classification.
